Functions are added to xrdpapi to allows the connection status
to be determimed. These functions are modelled on the Windows API
functions, but are not compatible with them. In particular, the error
handling is different.
A way for an application to receive events is also provided. At present,
only connect/disconnected events are implemented.
This type can be used to store sets of integers. It is intended to
be used to keep track of the display numbers allocated to sessions and
SCP connections.
A test suite for the new type is also added.
The data in 'struct xrdp_client_info' which is shared with xorgxrdp
is separated out into a separate structure. This makes it simpler to
change 'struct xrdp_client_info' without affecting xorgxrdp.
This allows the `xrdp` part of the path `/etc/xrdp` where config files
are placed to be customizable. This change is useful when trying the
stable version and the devel version alternately.
The '-lrt' added to the Makefile for the common library appears
to be unnecessary.
- On modern Linuxes, this library has been merged with libc, and the
supplied library is empty.
- On older ones (e.g. Devuan 4), the library contains routines we
do not use in xrdp (although we use 'shm_open()' in xorgxrdp).
- On FreeBSD 14 the library contains only mq_* and timer_* routines
which, again, are not required.
- Mostly base functions and utilities necessary to enable RFX
Progressive
- Add more EGFX work & mode flags.
- Update encoder.
- Does not yet include caps determination to enable RFX progressive
(yet).
- Update protocol constants
The sockdir is only used when sesman is active. The
call g_mk_socket_path() is removed from os_calls and moved to
sesman.
We also change the permissions on this directory to
0755 rather than 01777 (01000 is the 'sticky bit', S_ISVTX).
The behaviour of g_create_dir() has been modified to not
set S_ISVTX on Linux directories. This is implementation-defined
behaviour according to 1003.1, and is no longer required for the
sockdir.
- Based on https://github.com/jsorg71/xrdp/tree/dynamic_monitor
- Tested with xorgxrdp
- Tested with vnc
- Only works with single monitor.
- Update documentation to clarify the difference between MSTSC and
Microsoft Remote Desktop.
- Does not include compatibility with /gfx at this time, which is still
in testing.
- Updates to include ms-rdpedisp.h header for the 2.2.2 specification of
the protocol.
- Adds new dynamic_monitor_layout struct that shares the number of
monitors with xrdp_client_info.h
- Does not allow for BPP changes because the RDP protocol doesn't
support it.
- Option to disable feature as NeutrinoRDP doesn't support it (It was
based on FreeRDP 1.0.1 which didn't yet have this feature.)
- Add CLIENT_MONITOR_DATA_MAXIMUM_MONITORS constant and reference
spec definition.
Depends on https://github.com/neutrinolabs/xorgxrdp/pull/183
Constants from MS documents (MS-RDPBCGR etc) moved out of
common/xrdp_constants.h into includes named after the documents.
Similar includes moved from sesman/chansrv to the common area.
Use XRDP_SOCKET_PATH in file_loc.h
Don't define any non-socket paths in file_loc.h, they should come from
the makefiles.
Define all paths unconditionally, they should not be defined elsewhere.
Pass XRDP_SOCKET_PATH as environment variable to the backends.
libdir is for shared and static libraries. Some xrdp libraries are loaded
dynamically from a non-standard directory, so they are used like modules.
Having separate libdir and moduledir would eventually allow to separate
dynamically loaded modules from shared libraries.
AM_CPPFLAGS is for flags passed to the preprocessor, such as defines and
includes. AM_CFLAGS is for flags affecting the compiler, such as debug
and optimization settings.
INCLUDES is an obsolete name. Users can pass INCLUDES and break
compilation. AM_CPPFLAGS is more explicit that the flags come from
Automake and should not be overridden.
